The DCS-6210 has a toughened metal, industry-certified IK10 (vandal proof) and IP66 (weatherproof) housing, specially designed for use in rugged environments, and built to withstand sudden high impact and adverse weather conditions. 

Flexible Installation
The DCS-6210 has a Power over Ethernet (PoE) port which allows you to connect the camera to your network and power it through a single cable. This both expands and simplifies your options by doing away with the need for a nearby power outlet, making installation on ceilings much easier. The DCS-6210 can alternatively be powered by 12VDC, which broadens installation options, including transportation and solar deployments.

Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF)
ONVIF is an open industry forum for the development of a global standard for the interface of IP-based physical security products. ONVIF identifies a standard for how IP products within video surveillance and other physical security areas can communicate with each other ensuring interoperability between products regardless of brand. The DCS-6210 is ONVIF-compliant and therefore compatible with many third party Video Management Software (VMS) solutions.
