Let's start with iPhone

For iPhone

Look in Settings

Go to Settings > General > About. To the right of Model, you'll see the Model Name

For iPad or iPad PRO

Just flip you iPad and check out the bottom with tiny letter started with AXXXX (X, 4 digital number)

Here is the list of iPad/ iPad Pro model number:
