GSA8827 has been recently re-certified by Taoglas to operate on several 5G FR1 frequencies. The antenna is an excellent choice for NB-IoT and LTE-M applications such as in industrial metering. This antenna has good performance on the lower cellular bands from 700 to 900 MHz - in particular Band 8 Band 20 and Band 28 LTE.

The "Phoenix II" GSA.8835 has been designed as a fully IP67 waterproof rated enclosure and with extended wideband cellular frequency range coverage of 600 to 6000 MHz the newly designed GSA.8835 is ready for use at all cellular bands across 4G and 5G with compatibility with legacy 3G technologies.
Providing excellent efficiency and gain this low profile (7.9 mm) antenna is ideal in areas where space is at a premium. The GSA.8835 can be mounted on glass or plastic and comes with a strong 3M 1600T adhesive already adhered to the bottom side of the antenna for ease of installation. Phoenix II is a second generation adhesive antenna replacing the popular GSA.8827 antenna. The model covers more frequency bands with similar performance and improved environmental survival. This antenna is extensively on vehicles as it's a great low-profile unit meaning vehicle height clearance isn't adversely affected. When mounted to a metal ground plane performance is excellent a great solution for vehicles using a 4G LTE modem. While technically providing some operation on 5G 3.5 GHz bands performance is highly dependent on ground plane design. Caution should be exercised with this antenna - radiation efficiency is considerably lower and may result in decreased performance in some applications.
