When installed in conjunction with the FAKRO ZWMP Weather Module, the FAKRO ZWD Wind Sensor is a convenient device that’s designed to detect extreme wind changes. When mounted on a rooftop area, it can record wind speeds and notify any Z-Wave compatible windows to close upon reaching high speeds.

Product Detail
When unpredictable weather changes occur, the FAKRO ZWD Wind Sensor system can automatically close windows to protect your home. When installed with the FAKRO Z-Wave ZWMP Weather Module, the Wind Sensor can be used to detect wind speeds and communicate with any Z-Wave compliant window installations when the wind treshold of 40kmph has been reached. Upon detecting high levels of wind (above 40 kmph), the Wind Sensor will communicate via radio frequency and close any associated motorized windows around the home. Through smart inclusion with your home’s existing Z-Wave Network, the Wind Sensor can easily be installed alongside other automated devices in order to work together.
Simply mount the FAKRO ZWD Wind Sensor on a suitable rooftop area and connect it (wired) to the FAKRO ZWMP Weather Module, which will allow all allocated windows to directly communicate with the Weather Module and Wind Sensor.
Providing a central unit for monitoring changing weather conditions, the FAKRO Z-Wave ZWMP Weather Module takes full advantage of the Z-Wave™ system to allow for seamless inclusion into the home environment.
Including the ZWMP Weather Module into the Z-Wave system is simply using your Z-Wave Controller, in order for the device to be recognized. From there, each individual shutter/window or skylight installation can be programmed to interact with the ZWMP Weather Module, which will allow it to respond to changing weather conditions. The ZWMP Weather Module contains three digital inputs, which allows various external devices to be plugged in (ie. Rain and wind sensors, time switch, thermostat etc). With a working range of up to 40 meters, the ZWMP Weather Module can seamlessly interact with other Z-Wave devices around the household.

The FAKRO Z-Wave ZWK10 Wall Controller is a smart device that enables you to manage several aspects of your home. Through radio communication processing, the FAKRO Z-Wave ZWK10 Wall Controller can interact with 10 devices at once, split into 5 different communication channels (2 devices for 1 channel). VISION Z-Wave CO Sensor a device that detects the presence of the carbon monoxide (CO) gas in order to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. CO is a colourless, tasteless and odourless compound produced by incomplete combustion of carbon containing materials. It is often referred to as the "silent killer" because it is virtually undetectable without using detection technology and most do not realise they are being poisoned. Elevated levels of CO can be dangerous to humans depending on the amount present and length of exposure. Smaller concentrations can be harmful over longer periods of time while increasing concentrations require diminishing exposure times to be harmful.
VISION Z-Wave CO Sensor is designed to measure CO levels over time and sound an alarm before dangerous levels of CO accumulate in an environment.

The Fibaro Z-Wave RGBW Controller is a one of a kind, advanced wireless 4-colour LED strip controller. Apart from the traditional RGB channels it also supports the white light channel which allows you to add pastel colours to your lighting decorations.
The Fibaro Z-Wave RGBW Controller also has four analogue inputs supporting any type of Fibaro sensor (e.g. light sensors, wind sensors, pressure sensors and potentiometers operating between 0-10V). This smart feature allows you to use your lighting as a warning for certain events. You could, for example, set your RGB garden lights to turn red and flicker when one of your security sensors is triggered, alerting your neighbours to the intruder and allowing them to notify the proper authorities.
This device has four output channels which means that you can connect and independently control up to four light sources. The Fibaro Z-Wave RGBW Controller also allows you to monitor the energy consumed by the LED strips. The Fibaro Motion Sensor is a universal Z-Wave multi-sensor. Along with detecting motion the device measures the temperature and light intensity. The sensor has a built-in accelerometer to detect anytampering of the device. The Fibaro Motion Sensor is battery powered device and designed to be installed quckly and easily on any surface. The LED indicator signals motion, temperature level, operating mode and can be used to see if device is within the Z-Wave network. The motion sensor can be used for lighting scenes and security monitoring systems

Fibaro Flood Sensor is a universal, Z-Wave compatible, flood and temperature sensor. Device can be battery (ca. 2 years battery life) or VDC powered (12 or 24
VDC). Flood alarm is sent to the Z-Wave network devices or additionally to any alarm system controller, through opening a NC contact.
The device has built in temperature sensor, monitoring temperature of e.g. floor. Fibaro Flood Sensor is designed to be placed on the floor or on a wall with a flood
sensor probe extended by connected wire. The device has built in LED indicator and acoustic alarm. In addition, the sensor is equipped with a tilt sensor reporting
tilt or movement to the main controller e.g. when someone has taken the Sensor from its original location. LED diode signals flood, operating mode or the Z-Wave
network communication range. Fibaro Flood Sensor is sink-proof, which means it drifts on the water surface and keeps on sending alarm signal in case of
substantial inundation of water.

The DHS Z-Wave Plug-In Switch is a switch which can be plugged into any standard Australian type socket. This smart device can be used to turn your home appliances ON/OFF either manually or remotely using a certified Z-Wave™ controller. DHS Z-Wave Plug-In Switch (Plug-In Appliance Module) is for remote on/off switching of appliances, motor loads up to 1/2HP, or free-standing lights, including incandescent, magnetic low voltage, fluorescent and compact fluorescent loads.
Typical applications include switching of fluorescent lamps, portable fans, kitchen appliances, indoor fountains and more.
This device is fully configurable via Z-Wave™ parameters. E.g. you can set the max load limit at which the switch will automatically turn OFF, or you can specify the power measuring precision, or set how the switch should behave after power off - last remembered status or just OFF. More on configuration via Z-Wave™ parameters in the product manual (attached below).

Installation:
First, ensure that the target wall socket is switched off. The Z-wave Plug-In should be plugged directly into the wall socket and then the lamp or lighting circuit to be controlled should be plugged into the socket on the Z-Wave Plug-In. Apply power to the Z-Wave Plug-In by switching the wall socket on.
