- Great cost effective antenna.
The Blackhawk wideband antenna is a fantastic little antenna providing good performance with a lightweight, low-cost design. There's plenty of situations where a big, solid metal antenna is necessary, but also plenty where something quick and small can be just as useful. This antenna is great for areas where indoor signal is weak, and only a simple antenna on the roof is enough to give a fantastic improvement.
The antenna is simple and effective, it might not last as long as a fully welded yagi, or our Backhawk LPDA, but it's a great antenna for temporary installations or those travelling who need something compact.
Mounting is made simple with a mast down-tilt bracket and U-Bolts. This enables you to mount the antenna on a flat surface or a pole.

FEATURES
- 15 dBi gain on Telstra Next-G and Telstra 4GX
- High quality Australian made antenna
- Ruggedised construction for Australian conditions
- Fully welded alodined aluminium design
- Galvanised UNV2 mounting clamp included
- Short tail with pre-fitted N Female connector.
Operating on both Telstra Next-G (850 MHz) and 700 MHz 4GX frequencies, this uniquely designed yagi antenna is the ideal companion to Cel-Fi repeater systems in rural and remote areas.
The RFI YW15-6989 is a game changer. Traditionally yagi antennas have been limited to one specific frequency, however with the introduction of the Telstra 4GX network RFI's engineers have produced a brilliant design where the antenna has been intentionally detuned to cover down to the 700 MHz band.
So why the big fuss over 4GX? The answer is speed and range - the low 700 MHz frequency travels incredibly far, through trees, and deep inside buildings, meaning high speed internet service (often faster than the NBN) is now available practically anywhere your phone can pick up signal.
The antenna is an ideal pairing to the Cel-Fi GO or PRO unit when used for voice and text over the Telstra Next-G, and high speed internet over the 4GX network. As a lengthy antenna measuring 1.55 m long, the antenna is supplied with a heavy duty galvanised UNV bracket at no extra cost.
